When Someone Had It Right All Along.

Well, you're just across the street
Looks a mile to my feet
I want to go to you
Funny how I'm nervous still
I've always been the easy kill
I guess I always will

Could it be that everything goes 'round by chance? (chance?)
Or only one way that it was always meant to be (be)
You kill me, you always know the perfect thing to say (hey hey, hey hey)
I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away

I can picture your face well
From the bar in my hotel
I wish I'd go to you
I pick up put down the phone
Like your favorite Heatmeiser song goes
It's just like being alone

Oh God, please don't tell me this has been in vain (vain)
I need answers for what all the waiting I've done means (means)
You kill me, you've got some nerve, but can't face your mistakes (hey hey, hey hey)
I know what I should do, but I just can't turn away

So go on love
Leave while there's still hope for escape
Got to take what you can these days
There's so much ahead
So much regret
I know what you want to say
(Know what you want to say)
I know it but can't help feeling differently
I loved you, and I should have said it
But tell me just what has it ever meant

I can't help it baby, this is who I am (am)
Sorry, but I can't just go turn off how I feel (feel)
You kill me, you build me up, but just to watch me break (hey hey, hey hey)
I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away

Someone once told me this song reminded them of me. Now it reminds me of them.

Life is never easy, and 'I just can't walk away' now.

Eyes to the World.

Luckily, Google has been able to yet again take the next step into beating out the competion in the online map industry (no matter how small it actually is), with the "Street View" feature. Clearly, the satalite feature was not getting close enough to the "action" and you weren't able to stalk sufficiently. I'm sure within the year, all the major cities will be posted and we will be able to dive deep into the lives of most inner-city living. After that? Well, lets hope Google reps will be knocking on our doors to come in and take pictures. Or maybe a follow feature, where it allows you to find a person, trace their everyday path, and then follow them around. Thanks internet for making stalking so much easier and more interesting.

Edit:
i was able to make the walk from the subway stop, the A train on 145th, to Nick's old apartment on Bradhurst. It's farther than i thought. Also a little scary that i was able to find it that easily. I wonder if he was still liviing there when the pictures were taken.

Maybe I'll look up Donna's apt later. =D This is fun.

In Memory of... Part 4

In memory of all those who have fallen in battle, I killed Nazi's today... on Medal of Honor of course. The controls are really shitty, but I am still getting better at the game.

lunch looks better on a nice new plate from urban outfitters. yum. nothing goes better with peach tea then turkey sandwiches... at least thats how my pallet feels.

I left the apartment only once to go to the gym, after that, I just lounged around in my boxers all day. I put up shelves, cleaned up the place, caught up with some people. All in all it was an OK Memorial Day. I miss Heather though.

The things i didn't do were the things i really wanted to; make a comic, design my tattoo, fix my blog.... all well. The LONG weekend is over.

I like porn. that is all.

In Memory of... Part 2

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I'm not sure what happens when you make a mess out of it though. You feel like quite the bachelor when you make dry pancakes and burnt eggs. However, it was still good. Besides the fact my stomach is a little upset. I felt it was only right to make breakfast this morning, being that I almost always go out.

I'm sick of seeing movies about penguins coming out. fuck penguins.

Then I played the Wii for a few hours.

The Zelda game is ballin'. I'm particularly glad i bought that game. It doesn't quite make use of the Wii-mote as i would have liked but the game play and the story line are awesome. The new Metal of Honor game is a lot of fun. Aim and shoot. However, the controls are terrible. It's a struggle to accomplish a mission without looking at the floor or the sky unwillingly. Or possibly, whilst trying to reload; doing an about-face and ending up in a crouch. I needed to get a game though that wasn't a string of mini games to liven up my collection. I am much happier now.

After a short bike ride, a trip to Home Depot to by a drill (and some other things), and finally to Heather's to fix up some stuff and clean, I ended up with a headache and went back home. Once i was home, I was significantly less productive and eventually ended up back on the Wii.

I'm not really sure where the day went. I guess getting up at noon didn't help. Yet, it is after 2.

I felt adult today... other then watching Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and playing video games... other wise... pretty mature.

In Memory of... Part 1.

Today, I realized that Kansas City isn't much of a hot spot for vacations. Of course, I realized this before, but today the roads were empty, there were no evening plans made, and many of my friends have gone home. I don't really know where everyone goes. Certainly not the beach. Maybe thats why there is no one on the roads, because to go anywhere worth while for Memorial Day you have to fly.

The airport was no busier then normal today. I was there this morning at 6 to start Heather and Riley home. It was a pretty normal trip. Quiet. Typical conversation. McDonald's food. I miss them, but they are probably having a lot better time in Pa.

Someone new moved in today. a college aged girl if i had to guess. I hope she is better then the other neighbors, some of these people are just plan annoying. I also noticed the new neighbor in the dumpster out back, in the form of an enormous raccoon. I will get him on film soon.

I dropped 300 bones on stuff tonight. I got what i needed in groceries for the next couple weeks. But the exciting items include; the Zelda Wii game, and Medal of Honor for the Wii, and the Used CD. The best part involves a short story:
As I was leaving Best Buy i was checking over my receipt because i felt i was getting shorted on my savings when it came to my coupons. Once I analyzed the items, and debated returning to the customer service counter to get more money off, I realized that i had walked out with a $25 Afro Samurai DVD. So needless to say i didn't re-enter the store, and i went on my marry way.

I am trying to think of ways to keep me busy today.

My Refection Has No Face

Lost... i don't know what to say. It doesn't get much better. I am floored and at a loss for words.
to see what i mean. go to Sledgeweb..

Lately, Heather and I have been spending a lot less time together. And this weekend she is going home to be with her family over Memorial Day. The ONE advantage that comes from it is i have a bunch of extra time to get back to designing. Of course, I sit here and waste my time watching TV and updating my iTunes (8276 songs!) I am working on the look of my blog now. Don't expect an update anytime soon though. I plan on bringing back my comic, and redesigning my website and MySpace soon too. I have also put off my tattoo for almost a month. Maybe I will get myself together and really be productive this weekend...

Who am I kidding, this weekend is going to be awful.

Costumed Mennis

The sun is shining on a mild 71 degree day.

It's hard to catch everyone up, when I haven't made a real post in a while. As i said before, my birthday was good. Birthday "gifts" where still streaming in this week, with the few other relatives that forgot what day my birthday actually was. But loot is loot, and I'm still very glad they didn't forget totally. I have already used a partical amount of the money to by some much needed clothing. I have been struggling with the clothing i have, because nothing fits right.
This week has been a good one in entertainment. And as entertaining as my friends are, i mean media wise. Transformers premeired a new "exculsive" trailer on yahoo.com, that made my underpants brown (if you get me). July 4th can't come soon enough. I saw some trailers for Bee-Movie, Jerry Seinfelds latest.
Spider-man 3, not suprisingly, maybe only 60% of what it had made in it's first week this week. Thats probably because everyone who went out to see it last week (everyone and there mom), told everyone yet to see it (people living under rocks) how much it sucked, so they didn't see it. Yes, Spider-man 3 was a like a ball-sack sandwich. If you don't know whats in it, it looks pretty tasty. But once you taste it, it tastes like a ball-sack. That's bad. Then you can't seem to get that taste of balls out of your mouth. And once they were in your mouth, you can't take that back. I have never tasted ball-sack, but i have tasted spider-man 3.
In other entertainment, Lost was another good episode. I wouldn't say thay have saved themselves from inpending TV doom, but the true fans will stick with them. There is only one more episode left this season, even though it's 2 hours long. After that, 3 season, 16 episodes each. With only 48 episodes left, i think i can make it to the end. Heroes also will be signing off for this season this upcoming week. Being that it's the best drama series that nbc has put out, of course i will be back next year.
With all of these finales, and the midseason line-up strugging to entertain us. Heather and I decided to do the Blockbuster through the mail service. So far, we rented Pan's Laberynth last weekend, and we have yet to see it's postal presence.

Really, thats all thats happening. Riley is getting big. She is a brat, chewing everything she can sick her teeth into. Including her favorite; Flesh. However, she is adorable and an impossiblity to stay angry with her. I am typing this at work, which should normally mean that work is slow, but this time it means that I am waiting on just about every employee to get back to me on the cards i have.

I am thinking i am going to start the comic back up again.

Time for beer and nachos. Come back soon.
